Our original intention
Dear friends, welcome to our art space.
Founded by Teacher Zhang and Teacher Xin, this studio is both our shared calling and a partnership between husband and wife.
The name “Ian” carries the meaning of grace — a reminder that everything we have comes from God’s blessing. As devoted Christians, we believe that this work is entrusted to us by Him.
Our mission is to make art accessible to everyone, allowing it to become a natural part of everyday life.
Through art, we hope to shape the inner world, nurture imagination, and cultivate a spirit of creativity.
May this space be a place where beauty inspires you, comforts you, and brings new possibilities into your life.
Our Background
- Both my wife and I come from a well-known secondary school in China,
where we devoted 18 years to teaching and to shaping young lives.
Over the years, our students’ artworks have received numerous awards,
including many at the national level,
and many of the students we guided went on to top art academies across China. - We care deeply for every child who comes to us.
Our mission is to help each one discover their own strengths,
their own way of expression,
and the confidence that leads to a joyful and meaningful life. - We also understand that a child’s growth is closely tied to the parent-child relationship.
In many cases, it is the parents—not the children—
who need support, reassurance, and perspective.
We strive to bridge that gap, guiding families toward healthier communication
and a more harmonious journey together.
Our Vision
Studying art does not mean you must become an artist.
Art learning and an art career are two separate journeys.
